Olives New Zealand 2009 Extra Virgin Olive Oil Awards

First Drop were awarded three silver medals - one for each of our oils - the Koroneiki and J5 single cultivars and The Three Tuscans blend.

Hihi Olive Estate also picked up three silver medals.

Success at the 2008 Los Angeles International Competition

One of our partners, Hihi Olive Estate, picked up a gold medal and was judged 'best in class' in the New Zealand mono-cultivar class at the 2008 Los Angeles Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition held in May.

The estate's olive oil was one of three oils to reach the gold standard in the class which attracted five entries from three New Zealand olive oil producers. The win follows a silver medal in the 2007 competition.

First Drop won a bronze medal in the New Zealand blends class of the competition for The Three Tuscans.
